SUMMARY:Metro Bike Share Treasure Hunt
DESCRIPTION:Join Metro Bike Share for a play day in North Hollywood\, featuring a treasure hunt in North Hollywood! \nMetro Bike Share staff will be at the North Hollywood Bike Share Station\, located adjacent to the G Line (Orange) and B Line (Red)\, handing out clues to locate three answers at locations within a very short bike ride. \nCollect all three answers and get a very special prize – we will have t-shirts\, mugs\, gaiters\, and more to choose from (one per rider\, please!) for those who find the answers first! Riders who find 1-2 answers will receive a smaller prize item. \nCome meet other residents in your community\, explore together\, and win prizes! \nWhat to expect: \n\nRiders will need to solve the clues on their own or in groups – we encourage you to work together and ride together!\nChildren are welcome to attend but must be supervised by an adult at all times. Please\, no training wheels.\nMetro Bike Share riders must be 16+. Under 18? You will need a parent or guardian’s consent.\nWe will be on-site from 10 am – 2 pm\, please allow plenty of time to locate the answers to the clues. You may start at any time after 10 am and must return by 2 pm to be eligible for prizes.\n This is not a group ride – you will need to check out your own bike via an existing pass or by purchasing a 1-ride. Metro Bike Share will provide the first 30-minutes of your ride for free!\nRoll with us – this event can also be accessed via wheelchair. If you require access to a hand trike\, please send a message to marketing@bikeshare.metro.net so we can be sure to accommodate you.\nThere will be Spanish-speaking staff on-site\, as well as clues available in Spanish.\nThere will be three clues given to all riders at once – it is up to you to decide which order you would like to obtain the answers to the clues. No single answer is more than 1 mile from the start. Total biking distance will be about 2 miles.\nNever leave your Metro Bike unattended! Users are responsible for their bike while it is checked out at all times.\n\n

If you’re new to the program\, you will get a free 90-day pass (not valid for riding Metro Express Bus or J Lines). After the first 90 days\, you can continue to load the LIFE discounted passes or 20 free rides onto your TAP card.
