Ride a Metro Bike for #BikeMonth.

It's as easy as release, ride and return.

  • Release: Once you purchase your pass, unlock a Metro Bike with the Metro Bike Share app.
  • Ride: Fasten your helmet straps and enjoy your ride! Always keep an eye on your bike while your trip is open.
  • Return: When you are ready to end your trip, return to a station, push the bike firmly into a dock and listen for three beeps. Don't hear the beeps? You may need to wiggle the bike into the dock until it locks.

Whether you are riding for health, the environment, or getting to work on time, commit to riding more Metro Bikes in during Bike Month! Studies show that people are more likely to stay committed to and accomplish specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and timely goals. So each month this year, we’ll be sharing a calendar of suggested activities to help you stay motivated and committed to riding more often.

Download the May Commitments calendar for ride ideas and visit our Ride Guides and Station Destinations for inspiration. Be sure to share your trips with us by tagging @BikeMetro on FacebookTwitter and Instagram!
