Reduced Fare & LIFE

Reduced Fare TAP card holders and Low-Income Fare is Easy (LIFE) patrons are eligible for discounted 30-Day and 365-Day Metro Bike Share passes.

If you qualify and are approved for one or both subsidized programs, discounts for Metro Bike Share will apply automatically at check out for a Metro Bike Share pass.

Reduced Fare is available for:

  • Seniors (62+)
  • Persons with Disabilities
  • College / Vocational Student
  • K-12 Student (must be 16+ to ride Metro Bike Share)

Low-Income Fare is Easy (LIFE):

The Low-Income Fare is Easy (LIFE) program provides transportation assistance to low-income individuals in Los Angeles County.

Adult riders, Senior/Disabled, K-12 grade students (must be 16+ to ride Metro Bike Share) and College/Vocational students are eligible if their incomes are:

1 $36,550 or less
2 $41,800 or less
3 $47,000 or less
4 $52,200 or less
5 $56,400 or less
6 $60,600 or less
