BikeLA x Metro Bike Share Series: Joy Ride For Bike Enthusiasts & The Bike-Curious
Join ride leaders Sam Roxas and William Kennedy for the final ride in the BikeLA x Metro Bike Share series! We’ll ride from Mid-City to Koreatown and finish with a celebration at LA Eco-Village. New riders and experienced cyclists are both welcome. Along the way, enjoy tacos, a dance party and tips for getting around LA by bike. Meeting spot on RSVP page.
Free 30 day Metro Bike Share Passes will be provided to participants + Free Bike Helmets! Bring lights, or we’ll provide them.
Meet The Ambassadors
Samantha “Sam” Roxas · @wearecitypeople
Sam produces and co-hosts City People, a media project about how people experience their cities, from transportation to culture, housing, and quality of life. She’s exploring car-free life in LA, new to cycling in the city, and wants to make bike share feel welcoming for new riders.
William Kennedy · @la.ecovillage.repair.cafe
William is an avid cyclist and Metro Bike Share member who lives in the Los Angeles Eco-Village, a community built around car-free living. He’s active in LA’s sustainable cycling scene and knows firsthand how bike share fits into everyday life.
About The Series:
Join BikeLA and Metro Bike Share for a three-ride series funded by the Better Bike Share Partnership. Each ride is led by a local community leader, explores a different neighborhood and shows how easy bike share is for getting around Los Angeles. Every ride has its own focus, so come to one or all three rides. Each route is 3–5 miles and open to all levels.
