Metro Bike Share is Growing – Virtual Meeting
Connecting More Communities with Bikes and Transit
Metro Bike Share is expanding to make it easier for more people to get around Los Angeles County. This project will help bridge the gap between Downtown/Central LA and the Westside by installing new bike share stations and strengthening connections to Metro bus and rail services, including the D, E and K Lines.

Metro Bike Share offers a fast, easy and fun way for Angelenos and visitors to get around—helping to reduce traffic congestion, promote sustainability and improve access to jobs, schools and essential services.
Community Benefits
Metro Bike Share is designed to bring affordable, sustainable travel options to more neighborhoods. The expansion prioritizes equity by focusing on communities with high numbers of transit riders, seniors, youth and zero-car households. Local and small businesses will also benefit from increased access and mobility.

> Up to 120 new stations across Central LA and the Westside
> Up to 1,200 new bikes (85% will be pedal-assisted e-bikes)
