Join LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes and Metro Bike Share for the Celebrando the Eastside Sound Community Bike Ride, a free event inspired by LA Plaza’s newest exhibition, A Great Day in East LA: Celebrando the Eastside Sound. This guided ride will roll through the iconic neighborhood of Boyles Heights, passing landmarks, murals, and gathering places that reflect the rich musical soundscape of Los Angeles. Participants will stop at three sites: Mariachi Plaza, Neighborhood Music School, and the historic Paramount Theater, where exhibition co-curators will share stories that illuminate how music has shaped, and continue to shape, communities across generations. Come ride the rhythms of the Eastside and experience a soundtrack in movement.
